Mr. Green is proud to be the grandson of Joseph Woodrow Hatchett, who became the first black man to represent the Justice Department in the south, first to become a federal judicial officer in the south, first appointed to the Florida Supreme Court, first to win a state-wide election in Florida, and first to become appointed to the federal appeals court presiding over the old deep-south confederacy, the United States Court of Appeals’ Fifth Circuit at the time. That’s why Mr. Green brings a deep respect and appreciation for the legal system to his practice. It was his grandfather’s groundbreaking work that inspired him to pursue a career in the legal field and help those who have had the law weaponized against them.
